All other birds incl. smaller birds, Birds of Prey, Hummingbirds, etc. The first page or so consists of birds owned or cared for by Houston Area Falconry and Hawking enthusiasts. Seeing these regal wonders of nature from several feet away was thrilling.

on April 23, 2010Thanks, Ethan. This bird was a pure joy to look at and had the best RT Hawk markings I have ever seen at any distance. I never got a close shot of its red tail projected in flight. This hawk has great tail color- maybe those guys will invite me back for another crack at that particular photo.

on April 21, 2010Perhaps the most beautiful portrait of a Red-tailed Hawk I've seen. Love the feather colors, and the look. Nothing like the "raptor look."
