Anahuac 12-29-15
We saw a record number of Am. Kestrels per mile on the wires, but not a one had the decency to pose for a photo. However, lots of Northern Shovelers, a closest look ever at a White-tailed Kite, our reliable winter buddy the Vermilion Flycatcher (and closest by a hair photo capture of him), and a variety of duck species made this the best "cloudy day" shoot in quite some time.
